Once again we're sponsoring the UK's iconic search conference, and we'd love to talk SEO with you
One of our favourite events of the year, BrightonSEO is a superb conference for search marketing professionals, novice or expert. Brighton is a chance to learn from some of the best minds in search, and then rub shoulders with them at one of the friendliest, and largest, gatherings of SEOs in Europe.
We always send a big contingent of the team down the M23 twice a year eager to soak up the latest tactics and ideas. We’ve also proudly sponsored the event for the past few years, and September is no different.
We’re very pleased to say that we’re speaking and are hosting a roundtable, as well as having our stand which we’ll pack with the recovery packs that went down very well in April…
We’re delighted to say that we’ll once again be hosting a roundtable, this time sharing insight into creating content for search.
Permeating each SEO campaign lies a range of questions about how exactly we do content. What should your next piece be? Products or marketing? Which formats will work for our audience and goals? How do we convince the site to invest in content?
Well, now’s your chance to ask in a behind-closed-doors session that won’t be recorded or written up.
Come and join in this open discussion on any & all aspects of using content in search campaigns. Building meaningful content isn’t easy, so what happens if you bring together a roomful of content-savvy BrightonSEO attendees to share their expertise in a no-holds-barred clinic? Let’s find out!
Our roundtable will be hosted by Emma, with several of the team in attendance, all eager to find out what you have to say on the topic.
Charlie will be delivering a talk on using an agile ethos & different social & audience tools to build better content.
You can catch it as part of the social set of talks on the Internet Marketing Podcast Stage in the Dome Studio Theatre, which runs from 11:45 to 13:00. Space will be limited, so get there early!
As the search engines seek to reward content that satisfies users, we can learn from what our audience says online to influence our work and reach them via search and social channels.
The core of agile thinking is putting user’s needs as the primary goal, considering everything from the perspective of the audience. We’ll take a look at how this ethos is perfect for modern SEO, and how a range of social media, audience research and keyword topic tools can help us build a user-first content development environment.

One of the things we love about BrightonSEO is the chance to talk search with others. We’ll also be at our stand all day, so if you want to come and say hello or talk SEO, content development or paid media, just pop on over.
If you prefer, you can book a time to speak with us, whether during a session or in one of the intervals. Just give us a call or say hi on Twitter. If you have a specific question or you’d like us to give your site a look over, be sure to let us know so we can work on an answer or ideas before the conference.
We’ll most likely have some surprises and give-aways, and will generally be around here, especially between sessions. We’re also down in force on the Thursday night (the 17th) and after the event finishes. Stuart, Daniel, Paul, Bobby, Kasia, Emma, Katie, Farah and Charlie from the team will be in attendance.
BrightonSEO is held at the rather lovely Brighton Dome, which in our opinion is one of the best conference locations. Getting to the Dome is relatively simple, but if you have never been before, use this link to get directions from Google Maps.
